Set up your private album

Open Calculator Settings, then More Settings, or press and hold the RemaCalc title. Choose an unlock expression, confirm it, and save the recovery key safely. To unlock later, enter that exact expression in the calculator and tap equals.

Import and view media

In the album, tap Import and choose photos or videos. Originals remain in Photos; RemaCalc does not delete them for you. Live Photos currently import as still images. Open an item to view it or export its original.

Back up to iCloud Drive

Open Album Settings → Export encrypted backup. Choose iCloud Drive in Files and save. Wait for the upload to finish in Files before changing phones or removing local data. Backup is manual, and enough local temporary space and destination storage are required.

Restore or change your unlock expression

On a fresh installation, open More Settings and choose the option to restore from a file. Select the backup, enter its recovery key and choose a new unlock expression. On an existing installation, More Settings also provides recovery using your recovery key. If the original device can still unlock, you can change the expression from Album Settings.

If the recovery key is lost, the developer cannot decrypt the backup. If you can still unlock the original device, export important originals before removing the app.

Scientific calculator

DEG uses degrees; RAD uses radians. 2nd reveals inverse and additional functions. Tap the display to edit an expression. Use a decimal point and English function names. Percent means division by 100; for example, 200 × 10% = 20. The calculator works with real numbers.
